DERMAL FILLER INJECTABLES
DERMAL FILLER INJECTABLES
COMMON AREAS THAT ARE TREATED?
WHAT DOES THE TREATMENT INVOLVED?
ARE DERMAL FILLERS PERMANENT?
CAN DERMAL FILLERS BE DISSOLVED IF I DON’T LIKE THE RESULTS?
Hyaluronic dermal fillers can be dissolved using an enzyme called Hyaluronidase. This enzyme naturally occurs in our skin but can be injected at higher concentrations rapidly removing unwanted filler. The enzyme is a powder mixed with saline and then this solution is injected into the area where the filler has been placed. The filler will be broken down and will disappear in a matter of minutes. However, the full results of the treatment are only apparent once the swelling has gone down. This usually after 24 hours to 1 week.
CAN I RECEIVE DERMAL FILLER INJECTIONS AND BOTOX INJECTIONS AT THE SAME TIME?
Dermal fillers and Botox treatment can and often are administered during the same office visit. Because each product works differently in the skin, the two can be a powerful combination to achieve beautiful, natural-looking rejuvenation.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
Following the treatment, some redness, mild pain, bruising and swelling might occur at the site of injection. These are common side effects of mild severity that usually resolve in 48 hours, although not everybody gets these symptoms. Results are subtle but effective enhancements to compliment your natural beauty.
